Cameron & Jasmine's wedding day was one of my absolute favourite wedding days. Like other couples getting married during the pandemic, not everything went according to plan. But every single thing fell into place so perfectly. We started off the morning with torrential downpours and the weather app stating that we were going to have a 90% chance of rain ALL. DAY. At this point they were at Plan C of their wedding which was an outdoor backyard wedding and we were just hoping for the best. But the rain stopped right in time for Jasmine to leave for the ceremony! At one point we even saw the dark clouds rolling in during the ceremony yet somehow it totally skipped us! PHEW!
What I loved so much about this day were all the hands that went into making it so special. The ceremony/reception space was held in two backyards neighbouring each other that were owned by Camerons relatives. The landscaping and colours tied in all of their wedding details so beautifully. It almost felt like we were on a resort! The decor and flowers were done by Jasmine's aunt Louise from Exquisitely Designed in Sarnia who by the way is a freaking rockstar of an event planner. And because restrictions only allowed 25 people for the dinner and reception, their families made the dinner themselves and it was *chefs kiss* amazing. Oh yeah and the cutest part.. the father daughter dance song was an old recording called Stay Little Girl that Jasmines sweet grandpa sang with his band in the 1950s! We all cried. It was so beautiful.
By the way this is my first blog post ever! I always knew that Jasmine & Cameron's wedding had to be the first one that I shared and now that you have a bit of the back story, you can scroll through some of my favourite moments from their beautiful backyard wedding in Stratford Ontario.
